Composer event: Climate Intelligence and Action for Artists course and Discord server

June 12-13, 2021, I’ll be attending a digital course called Climate Intelligence & Action for Artists presented by the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.

Climate and environment are becoming big themes in my work, both in music and in communications, and I’m working to try to understand my connection to it all. It’s a big scary topic, and I want to find more musicians to talk about this with.

Almost none of us are climate scientists, but we all need to be part of the change at some level. And to do that well, we (I, at least) have a lot to learn, quickly. That’s one reason I’m doing this.
